Summary

The CLE program "Diversity & Inclusion: Theory Meets Reality" was originally presented and recorded on October 3, 2019.

The bench and bar in Knoxville invite you to attend a program on Diversity & Inclusion: A Call to Action - Theory Meets Reality on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Janice Brown, our keynote speaker, will bring judges, attorneys, and law students together to strengthen diversity and inclusion efforts in East Tennessee. Diversity and Inclusion is a concept that has been used for over 20 years, but what does it really mean at a practical level? In her remarks, Ms. Brown will lead us through a discussion about how the theory of D&I must evolve past the buzzwords, for the future of our country, our communities and our own personal growth. As legal leaders, we must understand the implications.

Speaker: Janice Brown, Brown Law Group

(If you have any questions about the program please contact the speaker at 619-330-1718)

Approved for 1 hour of "Online" Dual CLE Credit.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY: Please verify when you register for an online CLE course that you have not previously attended the program during the live presentation or the video replay series offered twice a year. The CLE Commission will not approve CLE credit for the same course even if it is taken in a different calendar year.
