WEBINAR: Supervised Visitation Options in Knox County
Tue, May 11, 2021
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET
The KBA Family Law Section presents the CLE Program "Supervised Visitation Options in Knox County" as a Webinar on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 12 - 1 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). The program is approved for 1 hour of general "distance learning" CLE credit.
There are various needs and goals for supervised visitation. Should supervised visitation be short term or long term? Should it be "eyes on" or "loosely supervised?" Is supervision to be by a family member or friend, or by an agency? What agencies are available, and what do they offer? Learn about the needs and goals of supervised visitation, and the options available to meet those needs and goals. Our panel participants will share the details of their supervised visitation services, so you can make decisions on the best options for your supervised visitation cases.

Late registrations will be accepted from 5:01 p.m. the day before the program until one hour before the webinar. An additional fee of $5 will apply when paying during late registration.. Call (865) 522-6522 with questions.
1. You can join this meeting with almost any device. For mobile devices, find the Zoom Meetings on the App Store or Google Play Store and pre-install. For a desktop or laptop computer, the link to pre-install is: https://zoom.us/download. You can then leave the meeting and then re-join again at the appointed meeting time. Absent a computer or mobile device, you can just join with a telephone call (audio only), but the best meeting experience by far is to use a computer or iPad, so you can see others and what is being presented.
2. For computer/mobile device connection: If you don’t already have the Meetings app installed, you will be prompted to do a quick installation when you click the meeting link. Once installed, you don’t need to “sign-in” or “create an account”, you just need to join the meeting. Only the host of a meeting has to have an account. Once you join with your computer, you will be asked if you want to use the computer audio or dial-in by telephone for your audio. You can use computer audio if you have a headset or are on a mobile device or laptop with camera/mic – webcams are encouraged; otherwise, dial in via telephone for your audio, following the on-screen instructions.
3. If you encounter any technical difficulties at all during the meeting, and it is persistent, sometimes it is best just to leave the meeting and then rejoin it. If you encounter any difficulties or have questions as a result of the test above, just contact KBA Office well before the meeting so that we can resolve them.
