WEBINAR: Increasing Profitability Through Use of Technology in a Post-COVID World
Tue, April 20, 2021
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET
The CLE Program "Increasing Profitability Through Use of Technology in a Post-COVID World" will be presented as a Webinar on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 12 - 1 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). The program is approved for 1 hour of dual "distance learning" CLE credit.
In a time when many law firms saw their revenues plummet, Patrick Slaughter was able to lead his firm, LaFevor & Slaughter, to a record-setting year. In this CLE Patrick will discuss methods to capitalize on remote working environments to maximize productivity and use these same technologies to attract new clients. Patrick will also discuss remote working fundamentals such as setting up a true paperless filing system that will allow you to access all of your client file information without having to dig through a pile of paper and risking those pesky paper cuts. Finally, Patrick will discuss advanced methods for consistent client communication that will not only keep your clients happy but will also improve your collections.
Presented by Patrick Slaughter, Law Offices of LaFevor & Slaughter

Late registrations will be accepted from 5:01 p.m. the day before the program until one hour before the webinar. An additional fee of $5 will apply when paying during late registration.. Call (865) 522-6522 with questions.
1. You can join this meeting with almost any device. For mobile devices, find the Zoom Meetings on the App Store or Google Play Store and pre-install. For a desktop or laptop computer, the link to pre-install is: https://zoom.us/download. You can then leave the meeting and then re-join again at the appointed meeting time. Absent a computer or mobile device, you can just join with a telephone call (audio only), but the best meeting experience by far is to use a computer or iPad, so you can see others and what is being presented.
2. For computer/mobile device connection: If you don’t already have the Meetings app installed, you will be prompted to do a quick installation when you click the meeting link. Once installed, you don’t need to “sign in” or “create an account”, you just need to join the meeting. Only the host of a meeting has to have an account. Once you join with your computer, you will be asked if you want to use the computer audio or dial in by telephone for your audio. You can use computer audio if you have a headset or are on a mobile device or laptop with camera/mic – webcams are encouraged; otherwise, dial in via telephone for your audio, following the on-screen instructions.
3. If you encounter any technical difficulties at all during the meeting, and it is persistent, sometimes it is best just to leave the meeting and then rejoin it. If you encounter any difficulties or have questions as a result of the test above, just contact KBA Office well before the meeting so that we can resolve them.
