Mary Lynn Carl-Rogers - In Memoriam

The Knoxville Bar Association and its members remember the friends of the association who may be gone, but not forgotten. We value their service to the community through their work toward justice and hope that this may serve as a tribute to them.

Mary Lynn Carl-Rogers

Posted on: Dec 31, 2009

M. Lynn Carl-Rogers received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Maryville College in 1979, graduating cum laude. Lynn then worked in the insurance and real estate profession before becoming faculty secretary to Professors John Sobieski and Joseph Cook at the University Of Tennessee College Of Law in 1984. The following year she entered law school and in 1988 received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee. Lynn was hired by the Joyce, Meredith, Flitcroft & Normand law firm of Oak Ridge, Tennessee in 1988, and became the firm's pioneer in the development of the Title IV Child Support Enforcement Program in Anderson, Knox, and Hamilton counties.
