The KBA Barristers CLE Committee is pleased to present the CLE Program "The Unwritten Rules of Fourth Circuit Court" on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 12-1 p.m. (EST). This program will be offered in person in the Fourth Circuit Courtroom.
This CLE program is part of the Barristers’ Unwritten Rules series and is designed to help attorneys navigate the practical realities of practicing in the Fourth Circuit Court. Judge McMillan will share unwritten norms, courtroom expectations, and real-world strategies that aren’t necessarily taught in law school—from interacting with the bench and clerks to efficiently managing clients and dockets. Attendees will gain practical guidance to practice more confidently and effectively in the Fourth Circuit Court.
