Law Practice Today Webinar Series

The CLE program "Empower With AI: How AI Will Change Your Practice" will be presented as a Webinar presentation on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 12 - 1 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). The program is approved for 1 hour of dual "distance learning" CLE credit.

Artificial Intelligence has been treated as a novelty. However, each day new AI technologies and products are being released. Like the personal computer and mobile device, AI will soon become an integral part of your law practice. This webinar will introduce you to AI, caution you of potential pitfalls, and will then cover productive uses of AI that will take your law practice to the next level.

Presenter: Bill Dean, LBMC

Bio: Bill Dean is a Shareholder and service line leader in LBMC’s Information Security’s incident response, digital forensics, electronic discovery and litigation support service offerings, and coordinates LBMC Information Security’s resources and activities in the East Tennessee market. A nationally known forensics expert, Bill and his team are highly sought after by organizations that are attempting to promptly and accurately assess a situation and minimize the impact of a cybersecurity breach. Prior to joining LBMC, Bill served as the Director of Security Assessments and Digital Forensics for Sword & Shield Enterprise Security Inc. Bill was also the founder of Forensic Discoveries before merging with Sword & Shield Enterprise Security, and he served as a senior security analyst responsible for information security for a large healthcare organization. ZOOM INSTRUCTIONS

1.  You can join this meeting with almost any device. For mobile devices, find the Zoom Meetings on the App Store or Google Play Store and pre-install. For a desktop or laptop computer, the link to pre-install is: https://zoom.us/download. You can then leave the meeting and then re-join again at the appointed meeting time. Absent a computer or mobile device, you can just join with a telephone call (audio only), but the best meeting experience by far is to use a computer or iPad, so you can see others and what is being presented.

2.  For computer/mobile device connection: If you don’t already have the Meetings app installed, you will be prompted to do a quick installation when you click the meeting link. Once installed, you don’t need to “sign in” or “create an account”, you just need to join the meeting. Only the host of a meeting has to have an account. Once you join with your computer, you will be asked if you want to use the computer audio or dial in by telephone for your audio. You can use computer audio if you have a headset or are on a mobile device or laptop with camera/mic – webcams are encouraged; otherwise, dial in via telephone for your audio, following the on-screen instructions.

3. If you encounter any technical difficulties at all during the meeting, and it is persistent, sometimes it is best just to leave the meeting and then rejoin it. If you encounter any difficulties or have questions as a result of the test above, just contact KBA Office well before the meeting so that we can resolve.
