KBA Summer Hours

Posted on: May 17, 2019

From May 31 – August 30, the KBA Office will be open from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday and from 9 am – noon on Friday. The modified work schedule during the summer is a way for our staff to enjoy summer while maintaining employee productivity. The goal is to enhance work-life balance, improve employee morale, and increase employee retention. Staff will continue to meet the daily and weekly demands because the number of hours per week will not change. Since so many KBA events & CLE programs are held during the evenings and on Friday, it requires staff to schedule their PTO around KBA programming during our busy season from September through May. The summer schedule is an easy way for staff to have a little flexibility in their hours during the summer months when we do not have as many events scheduled on Friday. Does this mean, we’re slowing down? Of course not! Our event calendar is busier than ever and we hope that members will not be inconvenienced by the change in the summer schedule.
