Criminal and 4th Circuit Court Clerk, Mike Hammond, in conjunction with 4th Circuit Court Judge, Greg McMillan, have installed a digital audio/video system for the 4th Circuit Court. This is the first technology of its kind in East Tennessee and one of the first in the state. The technology is voice activated and includes 4 cameras, 6 microphones, two Wireless Microphones, and new laptop inputs at the law tables. Judge McMillan plans to begin using this technology March 1. For information on recording a proceeding contact Judge McMillan’s Judicial Assistant, Rachel King at 215-2399. To obtain a copy of the proceeding, contact the Clerk’s office at 215-2404. The cost of the CD copies is set by the State Supreme Court Rule 26. The cost of a copy shall be $50 if the order is placed on the day of the hearing or prior to the hearing. The cost shall be $100 if ordered after the hearing.
