Criminal and 4^th Circuit Court Clerk, Mike Hammond, in conjunction with 4^th Circuit Court Judge, Greg McMillan, have installed a digital audio/video system for the 4^th Circuit Court. This is the first technology of its kind in East Tennessee and one of the first in the state. The technology is voice activated and includes 4 cameras, 6 microphones, two Wireless Microphones, and new laptop inputs at the law tables.

Judge McMillan plans to begin using this technology March 1. For information on recording a proceeding contact Judge McMillan’s Judicial Assistant, Rachel King at 215-2399. To obtain a copy of the proceeding, contact the Clerk’s office at 215-2404.  The cost of the CD copies is set by the State Supreme Court Rule 26. The cost of a copy shall be $50 if the order is placed on the day of the hearing or prior to the hearing. The cost shall be $100 if ordered after the hearing.
