It is a documented fact that the number of cases being tried in both federal and state courts has been and continues to be in decline, and the trend is evident in East Tennessee. The nature and extent of this trend, and what it may bode for our profession, was the subject of discussion in this 2-hour roundtable presentation on October 24th.  The program was conducted by a special committee of the KBA, consisting of area lawyers, judges, and other business professionals affected by our court system. The discussion was moderated by Committee Co-chairs, David Draper of Lewis, King, Krieg & Waldrop, P.C. and Judge Dale Workman, with additional commentary from the Committee membership.
