2008 Mock Trial Competition
The 2008 High School Mock Trial Competition was held on February 16th
and February 23rd. Eight teams
competed this
year, with West High School defeating Bearden High School in the final
round to win first
prize.

Volunteer Breakfast
Volunteers are
needed to serve breakfast at the Volunteer Ministry Center on
the fourth Thursday of the month. Contact Andy Hebar at

Golf
Tournament
The Barristers and the Knoxville
Bar Association are joining forces to co-host the annual
four-person golf scramble! This year's event will be held on
Friday, October 2nd, at Avalon Landmark Golf Club.
Registration, Practice Range Privileges & Box Lunch from 12:00
noon - 1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start & Tee Off begins at 1:30 p.m.
This will be dual-flighted tournament so everyone will have a
chance to win! The entry fee of $85 per player includes lunch,
green fees, cart, range balls, commemorative logo golf shirt,
great prizes, and a delicious cook-out following the tournament!
