How to Request a Lawyer
If you need a lawyer you can request a referral
online
or by phone at
(865) 522-7501.
1. An experienced LRIS staff person will listen
carefully to your legal situation and will ask a few questions.
2. We will identify if you need a lawyer or another resource available
in our community.
3. LRIS staff will be happy to arrange a free 30 minute in-office visit
or a free telephone consultation with a panel member attorney who deals
in the area of law in which you have a concern.
4. You will be provided the name and phone number of up to two
attorneys at the time of the initial call. You will be responsible for
contacting the attorney directly.
