The annual Past Presidents' Dinner is a celebration to express our appreciation to past KBA presidents for their hard work and commitment to the Knoxville Bar Association and the profession of law. This gathering brings together the past Presidents of the Knoxville Bar Association, past Presidents of the Tennessee Bar Association from East Tennessee, the current Knoxville Bar Association Board of Governors, and the current officers of the Knoxville Bar Association for a evening of camaraderie and conversation.

On November 19th, the KBA Functions Committee hosted a Trivia Night to support the charitable efforts of the Knoxville Barristers. Team Unestoppable won first place and the team members were Brad Craig, Abby Craig, Caitlyn Elam and Paul Whitt. There were 64 KBA members who participated in the trivia night.

The KBA Professionalism Committee invited members to the annual fall hike on Saturday, November 16 at House Mountain State Park. Hikers include Garry Ferraris, Chancellor John Weaver, Adrienne Anderson, Katrina Arbogast, Tim Houser, Carol Nickle and John Weaver Jr. and Elizabeth.

On November 14th the KBA Interprofessional Relations Committee hosted a mixer for the TSPE. More than 40 attorneys and engineers participated in the event at The Copper Cellar.

On November 7th, the KBA Interprofessional Relations Committee hosted a networking reception with the TSCPA's at Calhoun's in Bearden. 80+ lawyers and accountants attended.

On Tuesday, September 24th, the KBA joined with the U.T. College of Law and the LMU Duncan School of Law to sponsor a minority law student reception. There were 38 law students and 45 attorneys and judges in attendance.

On Wednesday, September 4, 2013, close to 300 lawyers, judges, and guests joined to celebrate the annual Knoxville Bar Association Supreme Court Dinner. Every year the Dinner honors the Supreme Court and offers them a forum in which to offer their reflections on the year, as well as their plans for the future. This year the KBA welcomed Freddy and Isabel Rubio who shared their insights on immigration matters on the state and federal level and its impact in the Southeast.

On May 16th, the Trivia Night sponsored by the KBA Functions Committee and the Barristers was a rousing success with close to $1,200 raised for the KBA's Habitat for Humanity project.

The Law Day Celebration was held on Friday, May 3rd at the Foundry. Click here for more information on the Barristers Law Day Program. The CLE program was entitled "A Passion for Serving our Community" and featured Cornelia A. Clark, Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court and KBA members Wynne Caffey, Rick Carl, Sam Doak, Kati Goodner and Ian Hennessey.
