Event Description: The KBA Criminal Justice Section presents a seminar entitled “Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll – Lawyer Style” on November 30, 2010 at 12 Noon at the City County Building – Small Assembly Room. The CLE features Ed Kingsbury of the Knoxville Police Department and Dawn Hodge-Burian of the TN Board of Probation and Parole. The program has been approved for one hour of general CLE credit. A reservation is required in advance of the program. There is a five dollar additional fee on the day of the program. Ever wonder how your client ended-up becoming entangled in the drug trade? Ever advise your client on the requirements of sex-offender related probation and then find out you were completely wrong? Do you like to listen to rock & roll music? If you answered yes to any of these, then have we got a CLE for you. Come join us for a one-hour CLE presented by the KBA Criminal Justice Section where you will receive instruction from Ed Kingsbury of the Knoxville Police Department concerning current trends in drug activity in Knoxville and how it affects your clients; and instruction from Dawn Hodge-Burrian of the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole concerning the requirements of sex-offender and community supervision for life laws.
