 Add to Outlook Calendar... Event Description: The KBA ADR Section presents a seminar entitled ”Preparing for Mediation” on March 7, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at the law office of Butler, Vines & Babb. The CLE program will feature Patti Jane Lane, Law Office of Patti Jane Lay and Dennis B. Francis, Attorney at Law. Mediation is one of the most effective ways to resolve your disputes and conflicts. The most effective and efficient mediations are those in which counsel and their clients are fully prepared. There are some simple steps that parties can take that increase the likelihood of successful outcomes. In addition, our presenters will share their tactics and strategies that will help you avoid common negotiation pitfalls. You do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program. KBA Members not wishing to receive CLE credit may attend the program at no charge (handout materials not included). The program has been approved for one hour of general CLE credit and one hour of General Mediation Issues Credit. A reservation is required in advance of the program.
