Event Description:
The KBA ADR Section presents a seminar entitled ”Collaborative Law”. The program will feature Jacqueline O. Kittrell, Community Mediation Center, Natalie P. LeVassuer, Associated Independent Attorneys and Lisa Collins Werner, Consensus Mediation Group.

Collaborative Law is a legal  procedure which helps participants reach an agreement through a cooperative process. Attendees will learn how divorces and other civil matters can be handled effectively and satisfactorly with this process. The fundamental principles and misconceptions of collaborative law will be addressed and discussed. The process will be compared with mediation, arbitration and litigation. See how this effective practice can be an additional tool in the ADR practice.

You do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program. KBA Members not wishing to receive CLE credit may attend the program at no charge (handout materials not included).

The program has been approved for one hour of general CLE credit and one hour of general Mediation Issues Credit.

A reservation is required in advance of the program - 5 dollar fee additional the day of the program.
