The May Lunch & Learn CLE program will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 12 noon - 1:30 p.m. at the *Downtown Hilton. A buffet lunch will be provided and will begin at 12 Noon. The program features Michael E. "Roby" Robinson, Luedeka Neely Group P.C. --Have you ever wondered exactly what "intellectual property” really is? --Do you know if your clients have any IP and whether they have taken the steps to properly secure such IP or otherwise confirm they are licensed to use the IP of others? --Is your business client unknowingly exposed to IP infringement liability and ripe for receiving a cease and desist letter of some kind? This program is designed to give the general legal practitioner or other non-IP specialist an opportunity to learn the basics of intellectual property law including an overview of what "IP” is, and how almost every business client in this century is using some form of IP in some manner (whether they realize it or not). Cost: KBA Members - $ 40 The program has been approved for 1 hour of general CLE credit. A reservation is required in advance of the program - $ 5 dollar additional fee the day of the program. *Note Change in Venue Location! Cancellation/Refund Policy: Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours before the program are subject to the penalty of the entire amount.
