Add to Outlook Calendar... Event Description: The KBA CLE Committee presents a seminar on ”Ain’t Behavin’: What Not To Do - A View From the Bench”. Learn Directly From The Judges! Judges and chancellors apply the law and oversee the legal process in courts according to local, State, and Federal statutes. They preside over cases concerning every aspect of society, from traffic offenses to disputes over management of professional sports, or from the rights of huge corporations to questions of disconnecting life support equipment for terminally ill persons. Judges ensure that trials and hearings are conducted fairly and that the court administers justice in a manner which safeguards the legal rights of all parties involved.
