Event Description: The KBA ADR Section presents a seminar entitled ”Mediating a Business Dispute”.The CLE program features Celeste Herbert & Pam Reeves, Reeves, Herbert & Murrian, P.A.. Take part in a roundtable discussion to learn the benefits of mediation in the business context. Learn how to help parties end a dispute amicably and get back to work. Our speakers are experienced mediators and practitioners who can share their tips on how to understand the important issues, communicate the strengths and weaknesses of a case without polarizing the participants, “read” the parties, their lawyers and their conflicting and common interests, explore creative options for resolution and infuse a sense of optimism and tirelessness when settlement seems bleak. You do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program. KBA Members not wishing to receive CLE credit may attend the program at no charge (handout materials not included). The program has been approved for one hour of General CLE Credit and one hour of General Mediation Issues Credit.
