Event Description:

On Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. the KBA CLE Committee will present ”Can David Work for Goliath? - Learn How to Secure Business from Corporate Clients - Corporate Counsel”. The program was originally presented live during the KBA Law Practice Expo on April 20, 2012.

The video will be shown at the KBA office and a moderator will be present so the program has been approved for live CLE credit (instead of distance learning or online CLE credit which is limited to 8 hours per year). The program has been approved for 1 hour of general CLE credit.

Members of this panel will share successful strategies to help local lawyers secure business from corporate clients. How can law firms compete and win business, striking a balance between the needs of in-house counsel and reducing costs. Our panel of corporate counsel will share what corporate clients look for and how the use of technology makes small firms competitive with large firms and appealing to area corporations.
