 Add to Outlook Calendar... Event Description: The KBA CLE Committee presents a program entitled ”Whose Spleen is it Anyway?: Bioetchics at the Cellular Level”. This program will feature Glenn C. Graber, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of Tennessee. Professor Graber will present the regulations proposed in the 2010 Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on human tissue and explore ethical issues in research involving human tissue (Henrietta Lacks), including the issue of patenting biological material and the use of biospecimens from biopsies and surgeries. He will also include handouts on end of life issues. Cost:KBA Members - $ 20 The program has been approved for 1 hour of dual CLE credit. Sign up now!
