Add to Outlook Calendar... Event Description: The KBA CLE Committee presents a new lawyer CLE series entitled ”In Chambers... Q & A with our Judges.”. This program will feature Hon. William K. Swann, Knox County Circuit Court, Division IV. The KBA CLE Committee has created this series specifically for new lawyers and the seminars will be practical and includes tips, pragmatic reasons and professional examples on how to be more effective in court. This series is designed to offer not only the judicial perspective of what not to do - but what to do. New practitioners will find this one of the most instantly usable seminars they will ever attend. Gain valuable insight into how you can enhance your effectiveness in front of the bench. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to learn from our local judges. The first half of the CLE will be a presentation from the judge about what they expect in their courtroom and the second half of the program will be an informal Q&A moderated by a local attorney. This will give attendees an opportunity to ask questions of the judge and learn valuable insights that typically only a seasoned practitioner would know. Cost: KBA Members - $ 20 The program has been approved for 1 hour of dual CLE credit. A reservation is required in advance of the program - $ 5 dollar additional fee the day of the program.
