 Add to Outlook Calendar... Event Description: The KBA Criminal Justice Section presents a seminar entitled ”Honor and Ethics in the Knox County Judicial System”. The controversy surrounding the Knox County criminal justice system has certainly impacted public perception in our community and across the state. The Knoxville Bar Association Criminal Justice Section is sponsoring a two-hour presentation that will focus on ethics and professionalism and what lawyers can do to restore public confidence in our system’s integrity. Join us for a panel discussion on May 11, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 in the Small Assembly Room, led by a local judge, prosecutor and several criminal defense attorneys. Approved for 2 hours of dual CLE credit. Program Cost: KBA Members - $ 40 Non-KBA Members - $ 60 KBA Law Student Members - $ 10 Staff of KBA Members - $ 40 A reservation is required in advance of the program. There is a $ 5 additional charge for registration on the day of the program. You do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program. Location Information: |
