Event Description: Schedule: 11:30 a.m. Buffet Lunch Opens (Please arrive prior to 11:45 a.m.) 12:00 noon Law Day Program including Recognition of the High School Mock Trial Teams; Presentation of the Poster & Essay Contest winners; Announcement of the prestigious Law & Liberty Award; and Commemoration of the Law Week activities by the Knoxville Barristers. 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. CLE Program - Approved for 1 hour of dual/ethics CLE Credit A panel discussion led by UT Law School DeanDouglas A. Blaze will explore hot topics that impact our profession, the courts and our system of justice. Join fellow KBA members as we look at recent changes and challenges that have influenced the waywe practice our profession, the perception of our court system, how lawyers can make a difference to improve access to the system and how we can best prepare for changing times. The buffet opens at 11:30 a.m. The Law Day program begins at 12 noon so please plan to arrive prior to 11:45 a.m. Tables of 10 may be reserved in advance.
