The KBA Environmental Law Section presents a seminar entitled ”Environmental Enforcement:Tips for the General Practitioner”.
This 2-hour CLE is targeted for the attorney with a general civil or criminal practice, whose real estate or corporate client, or developer may become the subject of environmental enforcement. Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation’s (TDEC) regulators and counsel will walk you through the enforcement process, from beginning to end. A reception will follow the CLE, allowing participants to network and interact with the speakers and other participants.
3:00 -4:00 p.m.
The panel will discuss how an inspection turns into enforcement, whether and when something becomes criminal, the different ways laws are broken (air, water, waste).

A reservation is required in advance of the program - $ 5 dollar fee additional the day of the program.
You do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program.
