On Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. the KBA CLE Committee will present ”Tech Traps & How to Avoid Them”. The program was originally presented live during the KBA Law Practice Expo on April 8, 2011.

The video will be shown at the KBA office and a moderator will be present so the program has been approved for live CLE credit (instead of distance learning or online CLE credit which is limited to 8 hours per year). The program has been approved for 1 hour of dual CLE credit.

We often fail to realize the amount of sensitive information that is stored and tracked with technology. For our businesses and practices, we also store sensitive information about and communications with our clients, in addition to intellectual property that facilitates our success. Because all of this information is now portable, we must take proper steps to protect ourselves, our clients, and our business interests.
