Event Description: The KBA Corporate Counsel Section is proud to present a ”In-House Counsel Toolbox Series: What You Need To Know About Workplace Bullying” CLE program featuring J. Scott Griswold, Paine, Tarwater & Bickers, LLP. KBA Member J. Scott Griswold will define workplace bullying and spend time reviewing public awareness campaigns, lawsuits using traditional causes of action, e.g., assault, harassment, etc., new state laws, policies to implement, and ways to deal with complaints of bullying. This program is of interest to corporate counsel and other practitioners who advise local businesses. The program will be presented during the Corporate Counsel Section Meeting. Please try to arrive at 5:00 p.m. so that section members have an opportunity to visit before the CLE begins at 5:30 p.m.! The program has been approved for 1 hour of General CLE credit. Program Cost: You do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program. KBA Members not wishing to receive CLE credit may attend the program at no charge (handout materials not included). A reservation is required in advance of the program. There is a $ 5 additional charge for registration on the day of the program. Cancellation/Refund Policy: Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours before the program are subject to the penalty of the entire amount. Substitutions may be made.Location Information: |
