Seersucker Flashmob - The first of its kind

There is no doubt that it is a long, hot summer. In previous long, hot summers in the South, Southern lawyers were known to favor seersucker suits, due to their cooling qualities. Thanks to the creativity of one of our members, I am proud to announce the first ever Seersucker Flashmob. We have scheduled the flashmob on Friday, August 26 at 11:45 a.m. in the Main Assembly Room of the City-County Building (the "event" may be moved outside weather permitting and depending on the size of the crowd). We want every KBA member to put on your seersucker and join us for a photo op. Treat this as a tribute to Atticus Finch or as a camaraderie builder among the local bar. In order to officially classify this event as a flashmob, we need a LARGE group of people to join in. We don't anticipate that this will take much time so please make every effort to join us and show your support.

Help us spread the word among the legal community in Knoxville! We have scheduled our flashmob to immediately follow the "Personal Productivity" CLE featuring Mary Pankiewicz so hopefully we will have a large crowd assembled at that time anyway. Just don't forget to put on some form of seersucker attire...
