On Wednesday, July 27, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. the KBA CLE Committee will present ”Discovering Digital Information: What every lawyer should know”. The program was originally presented live during the KBA Law Practice Expo on April 8, 2011.

The video will be shown at the KBA office and a moderator will be present so the program has been approved for live CLE credit (instead of distance learning or online CLE credit which is limited to 8 hours per year). The program has been approved for 1 hour of dual CLE credit.

Digital information encompasses more than hunting for hot documents and evidence. You need to understand how computer investigations work in order to know what information to request and how to obtain it. This session will teach you how to find relevant electronic evidence that will make or break your case. This CLE will be helpful to attorneys in all practice areas and understand that deleted information is never really gone.
