Event Description:

The December Lunch & Learn CLE program will be held on December 8, 2011 from 12 noon - 1:30 p.m. at The Foundry - On The Fair Site. A buffet lunch will be provided.

The program features Laura Gatrell, TLAP Executive Director and James M. Cornelius, Jr., Egerton, McAfee, Armistead & Davis, P.C. on the topic of ”Helping the Legal Community, One Lawyer at a time”.

This CLE program will cover the professional responsibility obligations when it is suspected
that a colleague is impaired in his or her ability to practice law, and addresses the
neurobiological bases of addiction and depression. Nationally, lawyers experience substance abuse and depression at twice the numbers of the general public. The CLE addresses these diseases, their affect on a lawyer’s ability to function, and how the Tennessee Lawyers Assistance program and the KBA Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Committee can provide help on these difficult issues.

Cost:
KBA Members - $ 40
Non-KBA Members - $ 60
KBA Law Student Members - $ 30
Staff of KBA Members - $ 40

The program has been approved for 1 hour of dual CLE credit.

A reservation is required in advance of the program - Five dollar additional fee the day of the program.
