Event Description:
The KBA ADR Section presents a seminar entitled ”Mediation from a Judge’s Perspective”. The program will feature Hon. Robert P. Murrian, Reeves, Herbert & Murrian, P.A. and Chancellor Sharon J. Bell.

Topics of discussion will include:

•whether the judge should refer a particular case to mediation or strongly encourage mediation;
• mediation’s effect on the trial dockets and trial advocacy, if any;
• retired judge’s as mediators;
• summary enforcement of mediation agreements by the court;
• the dynamics of relationships between mediators and active judges.

You do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program. KBA Members not wishing to receive CLE credit may attend the program at no charge (handout materials not included).

The program has been approved for one hour of General CLE Credit and one hour of General Mediation Issues Credit.

A reservation is required in advance of the program - 5 dollar fee additional the day of the program.
