Event Description: The KBA ADR Section presents a seminar entitled ”ADR in Employment Litigation: Where We’ve Been and Where We’re Going”.The CLE program features Mark Travis, J.D., LL.M., ADR Specialists, LLC. In response to increasing employment litigation, companies, courts and agencies are increasingly turning to mediation and arbitration as an alternative to litigation. This program will cover how that process has developed over the last two decades, and what the future portends for practitioners in the field. Additionally, the program will review how the changes in the Americans with Disabilities Act will impact mediation of those cases in particular. You do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program. KBA Members not wishing to receive CLE credit may attend the program at no charge (handout materials not included). The program has been approved for one hour of General CLE Credit and one hour of General Mediation Issues Credit.
