The program will feature Patty K. Wheeler, Wimberly Lawson Wright Daves & Jones, PLLC and Robert R. Campbell, Hodges, Doughty & Carson, PLLC .=0D=0A=0D=0AObvious? Perhaps to some but from experience serving as a mediator and arbitrator it is not always so clear to all. Mediation as a conciliatory process is by nature quite different from the adversarial process of arbitration. The process and procedures used in mediation are different from those in arbitration. However just as there are many different forms of mediation with different rules there are also different forms of arbitration with different rules. This session will focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution in the areas of commercial and employment law. The observations and experiences of mediating and arbitrating in these fields will be shared.=0D=0A=0D=0AYou do not need to be a member of the section in order to attend the CLE program. KBA Members not wishing to receive CLE credit may attend the program at no charge (handout materials not included).=0D=0AThe program has been approved for one hour of General CLE Credit and one hour of General Mediation Issues Credit.Program Cost:=0D=0A=0D=0AKBA Members - $ 20=0D=0A Non-KBA Members - $ 30=0D=0A KBA Law Student Members - No Charge=0D=0A Staff of KBA Members - $ 20=0D=0AA reservation is required in advance of the program - $ 5 dollar fee additional the day of the program.=0D=0A=0D=0A=0D=0A =0D=0ADirect KBA Link: www.knoxvillebar.org/index.php?option=3Dcom_content&view=3Darticle&id=3D8&pID=3D276&Itemid=3D5&form=3Dviewproduct=0D=0A
