Firms for Food: The Hunger and Poverty Relief Committee is still seeking firms to volunteer one Saturday a month to help sort and package food at Second Harvest. Cornhole Tournament: The Barristers' 5th Annual Cornhole Tournament will take place at Bearden Beer Market on Thursday, September 25. There will be prizes for first and second place teams! All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee.
Shop-Till-You-Drop: The Hunger and Poverty Relief Committee has organized a NEW event with Talbots to benefit charity. On September 16, from 4-7 p.m., Talbots will donate 10% of all sales at its store, Melrose Place, 5614 Kingston Pike, to charity (charity TBD). Please mark your calendars and get ready to spend for a good cause!
