Judges Roundtable: A Discussion of the Proposed Changes to the Criminal Court Local Rules
The program will be held from 12 noon - 1:00 p.m. at the Small Assembly Room, City County Building,
400 Main Avenue. The program features Hon. Mary Beth Leibowitz, Knox County Criminal Court, Division I, Hon. Bob R. McGee, Knox County Criminal Court, Division II, and Hon. Steven W. Sword, Knox County Criminal Court, Division I. What hasn't changed since 1989? No, not the head coach at the University of Tennessee. It's the Local Rules of Knox County Criminal Court. Over the last 24 years, there have been many changes to the law and local practice. The criminal court judges have prepared revisions to the local rules and are seeking input from the local bar. You will be given an opportunity to discuss the proposed changes and suggest amendments, additions, and deletions. Come and listen and let your voice be heard. View the proposed rules.
