KBA Committees and Sections
The purpose of the Memorials & Resolutions Committee is to provide a year-to-year record of the attorneys who pass into the Life Eternal. Each year the death of the individuals is noted and a notation is placed in the permanent records of the Knoxville Bar Association and with the Chancery Court of Knox County, Tennessee. The Committee sponsors a Memorial Service on the Friday before Thanksgiving to honor attorneys and judges who have passed away.
Memorials & Resolutions Activities
The Memorials & Resolutions Committee provides a record of Knoxville attorneys who have passed away during the preceding year by preparing fitting resolutions memorializing their lives. These resolutions are placed in the permanent records of the Knoxville Bar Association and in the Chancery Court of Knox County.
