Minority Opportunities Activities
The Knoxville Bar Association, The University of Tennessee College of Law and Lincoln Memorial University - Duncan School of Law held the annual Minority Opportunities Reception on September 27, 2012. The reception was held at Carleo's in the Old City and was attended by over 70 law students and KBA members, as well as the Knox County District Attorney's Office and the Knox County Public Defender's Office. The key note speaker was Mayor Madeline Rogero. The theme of her presentation was "Bloom Where you are Planted" and it resonated with the students and lawyers in attendance.
