WHAT IS THE KNOXVILLE BARRISTERS?

The Knoxville Barristers are lawyers who are members of the Knoxville Bar Association and who are under 36 years of age or who have been practicing law less than five years. As a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, you are automatically a member of the Knoxville Barristers if you meet the above criteria as a "young lawyer".

The Knoxville Barristers are very active in both public service projects and membership service projects. Since we have such a large number of programs, we would like to have the participation of each member of the Barristers. If you see a committee that interests you, please contact the chairperson to see how you can get involved in the project. The Barristers always welcome new ideas, so if you have suggestions regarding membership or public service programs that the Barristers should consider, please give one of the officers a call.
