The Knoxville Bar Association
Interprofessional Relations Committee will sponsor a happy
hour gathering of lawyers and their professional colleagues
(accountants, bankers, journalists, marketing professionals,
doctors, engineers, etc.).
In order for this event to be a success, we are asking KBA members to
invite a guest of another profession for networking
purposes.
Join us on April 26th. Limited to the
first 100 registrants.
Thursday, April 26th
5:30—7:00 p.m.
The Bistro — 807 S. Gay Street
Dr. Bill Bass, founder of the University of Tennessee's
Forensic Anthropology Facility and a professor
emeritus of anthropology, will be available to sign copies
of his latest book during the Professional Social Hour.
The book, entitled "Flesh and Bone," is a novel that relies
on Bass's extensive expertise to integrate real
world elements and experiences into the story. This is the
2nd novel in Dr. Bass’s planned 3-4 novel series and copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
The goal of the Interprofessional Relations Committee
is to "encourage mutually beneficial interaction among
lawyers and other professionals in the community...the
Committee finds ways to promote a spirit a cooperation and
better understanding". Mission accomplished! Our
Professional Social Hour last year featured Dr. Bass signing
copies of his book “Carved in Bone” and we had 80+ Knoxville
professionals attend. Join us on April 26th for another
successful event!
R.S.V.P.
There is no charge to attend the event and a cash bar will
be available.
