Melanie Connatser,
Membership Services & Communications Coordinator, is responsible for maintenance of the attorney database. She enjoys sending out the weekly e-newsletter to members to keep them updated on KBA activities and designing promotional CLE flyers which illustrates the active bar association the KBA is. Melanie joined the KBA in November, 2003 and has been an integral part of the staff since she began. She graduated in 2003 from Maryville College with a B.A. in Business & Organization Management. She resides in Monroe County with her husband, Adam.

 

 

 

Robin Cox has been with the KBA 12 years and serves as the Director of the Lawyer Referral & Information Service. Robin's primary responsibility is to manage the Lawyer Referral & Information Service (LRIS), which includes administration of referral panels, attorney membership, referral of clients to panel attorneys and other available resources. She coordinates the LRIS speakers bureau and assists in long-range planning and program development. Robin received her paralegal degree from the Knoxville Legal Education Center and has worked in the local legal community since 1991. She has been married for 8 years to her husband Allen and they have 5 four legged children, Sam, Boots, Patches , Pepper & Dallas.

 

 

 

 

Tammy R. Sharpe is the CLE Administrator at the KBA.  Her main responsibilities are handling CLE registrations and reporting credit hours. Tammy graduated from the University of Tennessee, where she received a B.S. degree in Business Management. She has two cats, Leroy and Wiggy. Tammy enjoys traveling, playing sports and generally any type of outdoor activity.
 

 

 

 

 

Tracy Stansberry joined the KBA in February 2009 and is the Membership Services Assistant. Tracy comes to the KBA from the profession of medical transcription, having been a medical language specialist for 19 years. She assists Robin with various LRIS administrative duties including processing referrals through the KBA website as well as telephone referrals, client surveys, and referral follow-ups. Tracy lives in Knoxville with her sons Charlie (12) and Will (9), Huck the border collie, cats Boots and Oliver, and various fish and other fauna.
 

 

 

 

 

Marsha S. Wilson has served as Executive Director since September, 1990. Marsha began her bar service working in Washington, DC for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America in 1985 and then moved to Baltimore to accept the position as the Director of the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association in 1987. She served on the Juvenile Court Advisory Board and the Character Counts! Board and was a member of the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2000.  She is a member of the National Association of Bar Executives, Tennessee Society of Association Executives and the Executive Women’s Association. Marsha is an avid sports fan, loves outdoor activities and is active in the Halls community.
