What attributes do you possess that make you qualified for this position?
As Chancellor for the past fifteen years I have presided over one of the broadest jurisdictions available to Tennessee trial judges. Chancellors are constantly faced with a wide variety of cases encompassing issues that span the spectrum of legal and equitable causes of action. I have been, and will remain willing, to work hard to prepare myself to hear cases, identify the issues, afford litigants a fair opportunity to be heard, and to render the hard decisions.
